Welcome to The JumpSport Bounce and Barre Specialty Training Course, a unique workout blending barre and rebounding. This course will guide you in using a fitness trampoline and barre principles for exercises that tone muscles, improve balance, burn calories, and enable you to design your own workouts with a variety of movements.

This course is designed for any fitness instructor who wants to integrate the cardio benefits of bounce with the low-impact strength and flexibility benefits of barre. The only required piece of equipment is a fitness trampoline, but a ballet barre and other smaller accessories can be useful. You will also need a comfortable space to move around and a device to access the course materials.

Learning Objectives

  1. Gain Better understanding of barre programming and discover how the JumpSport Fitness Trampoline perfectly complements Barre exercises.

  2. Recognize the key attributes of an effective barre instructor, including adept communication skills, thoughtful exercise selection, efficient class management, and the ability to provide progressive and modified movement patterns for a multi-level class.

  3. Identify effective troubleshooting techniques to effectively manage areas of challenge that promote growth for both instructors and participants.

  4. Learn effective programming options for class participants of varying levels.

  5. Apply appropriate work-to-rest ratios to ensure proper exercise selection, intensity, and recovery when combining barre conditioning and cardio bouncing on the JumpSport Fitness Trampoline.

  6. Experience and demonstrate proper exercise techniques, regressions, and progressions for each of the suggested JumpSport Fitness Trampoline exercises.

Course Procedure

  3. Take the test. (You must score 80% to pass. If you do not pass, you may retake the test.)
